Social Action/Community Service

Tikkun Olam, reparing the world, is a central value of Judaism.  Through social action and community service students have opportunities to give of themselves while helping others.  The Durham community, the Jewish community as well as the global community have all benefited from the efforts of our students.

Duke students can be found visiting the elderly, working with underprivileged children, building homes in Uruguay, and raising funds for Jewish families in need.
