Duke Students Celebrating Passover!
The rhythm of Jewish time has a different mode for every mood, a different ritual, a different sight, sound and taste. Whether it’s the solemnity of Rosh Hashanah or the craziness of Purim, we invite you to be part of the mood. Religious services are offered for all holidays falling within the academic year. Reform and Conservative services are offered on Shabbat and High Holidays. On all other holidays, we strike a balance between the two. The focus is on community rather than on movements.
The Durham-Chapel Hill Jewish community also hosts Reform, Reconstructionist, Conservative, Orthodox and Chabad synagogues. Students are encouraged to explore them.
